Gamida Cell is a leader in advanced cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplants, with two FDA approved therapies, Omisirge® (omidubicel-onlv) and APHEXDA® (motixafortide). Omisirge® is the first and only FDA approved cell therapy for allogeneic stem cell transplant. APHEXDA® is a stem cell mobilization agent indicated for autologous transplantation for patients with multiple myeloma.
General Scope and Summary
The Sr. Business Analyst role is an integral role to Gamida Cell and will be responsible for the operational execution of commercial analytics, reporting, forecasting support, data governance, incentive compensation, CRM data stewardship, and business capabilities. This individual will serve as the primary operation owner of the commercial analytics ecosystem and partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Patient Services, Cell Therapy Operations, and IT to improve decision making, increase data integrity, enhance reporting capabilities, and support commercial growth objectives. The successful candidate will create scalable processes and reporting capabilities while ensuring that commercial leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support business decisions. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director, Pricing & Analytics. This role’s key responsibilities will be managing internal KPI reporting, supporting data model strategies and integrations, deep dive analytics, forecasting revenue and demand, and helping to collect data to inform strategic and tactical decisions. This requires strategic thinking, communication skills, along with various technical data analytics capabilities as well as the ability to work cross-functionally to understand the business in-depth.
- Lead engagement across key transplant centers to drive adoption of Omisirge® and APHEXDA®
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
- Promote products through clinically credible and value-driven messaging
- Build trusted relationships with transplant physicians and key stakeholders
- Ensure coordination of cross-functional activities within each account
- Monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve business objectives
Roles and Responsibilities
- Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Serve as 1st line of contact for cross-functional brand team analytics intake of requests and
- Support the Commercial organization for business performance reporting, forecasting, and commercial analytics.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of business performance, reimbursement trends, customer utilization patterns, account performance, and commercial execution.
- Develop leadership-ready presentations and communications that translate complex analyses into business recommendations.
- Support high-priority commercial initiatives through analytics, forecasting, and competitive and market intelligence.
- Commercial Reporting & KPI Management
- Support the design, development, governance, and maintenance of recurring commercial reporting.
- Proactively engage Stakeholders to refine metrics, KPIs, Business Rules and explore secondary data to uncover additional insights.

- Implement the creation and maintenance of a standardized data and reporting knowledge base (KPI repository) for commercial teams.
- Oversee delivery of all recurring reports and dashboards ensuring accuracy, consistence, and timeliness.
- Incentive Compensation Operations
- Manage administration and operational support of incentive compensation programs.
- Manage IC reporting, attainment calculations, payout validation, and field communications.
- Support territory alignment and goal-setting processes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and audit support for IC programs, Veeva CRM & Data Stewardship
- Serve as the business owner for commercial data stewardship processes within Veeva CRM.
- Manage Data Change Request (DCR) intake, review, routing, tracking, and resolution processes.
- Partner with field teams to ensure customer master data accuracy.
- Monitor CRM data quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support CRM reporting, territory management, and account alignment activities.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain CRM data integrity.
- Dashboard Development & Analytics Infrastructure
- Lead requirements gathering and prioritization for reporting and dashboard initiatives.
- Partner with IT to improve reporting architecture and analytics capabilities.
- Evaluate existing reporting assets and recommend enhancements.
- Support integration of:
- CRM data
- Customer data
- Funnel data
- Financial data
- Revenue data
- Market access data
- Drive adoption of analytics tools and self-service reporting capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner extensively with Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Patient Services, Cell Therapy Operations, IT, external and data vendors to ensure alignment on business priorities, KPI standards, reporting requirements, and commercial insights.
- Support in the monthly/quarterly forecasting process, integrating best practices into the model, understanding and adjusting assumptions, and partnering with senior leadership to support financial and demand planning
- Continually support and assess the commercial data strategy, with a focus on ensuring our capabilities meet the business needs, that data is well leveraged, and provide support and education when needed.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Required
- BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, commercial analytics, commercial operations, forecasting or business.
- Experience supporting commercial organizations in biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, oncology, rare disease, or cell and gene therapy organizations.
- Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Oncology, hematology, transplant, rare disease, or cell therapy experience.
- Experience supporting launch or growth-stage brands.
- Experience with 3 or more of the following data sets: Specialty Distributor (867/852) data, Specialty Pharmacy data, 3PL data, CRM data, Claims data, HCP/Marketing/Account analytics, syndicated market
- Experience in Commercial Analytics (KPI development, executive reporting, dashboarding development, forecasting methodologies, and Commercial performance analytics).
- Experience in data & reporting (data governance, data quality management, data reconciliation, reporting automation, and business intelligence tools)
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate insights from various sources and develop strategic guidance for brand teams that drive business decisions or action.
- Experience in commercial operations functions (Incentive Compensation, Territory analytics, CRM operations, Veeva CRM, data stewardship processes, DCR management).
- Skilled at working effectively in a collaborative team environment where results are achieved through influence and the incorporation of multiple points of view.

Base Salary Range: Gamida Cell considers a range of factors when determining base compensation and therefore the final compensation will vary depending on experience level.
