Rocio Manghani joined Gamida Cell in November 2020 as the Senior Vice President of Market Access. Rocio brings more than 20 years of experience in market access, including commercial and government payers, trade and distribution, patient assistance programs, government affairs, as well as launching first-in-class therapies. Rocio’s responsibilities at Gamida Cell includes overseeing the development and execution of all aspect of market access to ensure patients have timely and appropriate access to therapy, as well as leading IT within Gamida Cell. Prior to joining Gamida Cell, Rocio was at Tricida where she built the market access function.  Prior to Tricida, Rocio was at Kite, A Gilead Company where she led the reimbursement and market access initiatives for their CAR-T. She also had various roles and responsibilities at Celgene, Abraxis Bioscience, and Roche which helped to fuel her passion of ensuring patients have access to the right therapies at the right time. Rocio earned her Master’s in Public Health from Emory University and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.
