Gamida Cell is a leader in advanced cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, with two FDA approved therapies, Omisirge® (omidubicel-onlv) and APHEXDA® (motixafortide). Omisirge® is a nicotinamide (NAM) modified allogeneic hematopoietic progenitor cell therapy that is potentially curative for patients with hematologic malignancies. APHEXDA® is a CXCR4 antagonist with long receptor occupancy indicated in combination with filgrastim to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells to the peripheral blood for collection and subsequent autologous transplantation in patients with multiple myeloma.
General Scope and Summary
The IT Business Partner will lead the development, testing, deployment, and support of Gamida Cell’s business applications. Reporting to the Head of Global IT, this role will partner closely with Commercial and G&A teams to assess the current application landscape and define a forward‑looking roadmap aligned with evolving business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and manage a subset of the business application portfolio, ensuring interoperability and alignment with business objectives.
- Recommend application architecture standards, methodologies, and tools, and guide both business and IT stakeholders on best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and strategic development partners.
- Oversee vendor management for application components.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure secure, efficient, and properly governed database environments.
- Stay current on pharmaceutical and broader industry technologies and assess their relevance to Gamida Cell.
- Develop SOWs, contracts, managed service agreements, and SLAs in coordination with vendors and sourcing teams.
- Establish and communicate development and support standards across the organization.
- Lead application development and implementation initiatives through a structured project lifecycle, including internal builds, customizations, and SaaS solutions.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in managing business applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Demonstrated success in defining and executing application roadmaps across multi‑site, enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry application ecosystems.
- Broad technical knowledge spanning applications, databases, operating systems, platforms, storage, and networks.
- Experience across full lifecycle management: requirements gathering, design, vendor selection, development methodologies, source control, defect tracking, change and release management, deployment, and training.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to link technical priorities to business goals.
- Excellent communication and influence skills with proven cross‑functional collaboration.
- Experience with Salesforce and Veeva.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, and program tracking.
- Knowledge of cGMP and validation requirements preferred.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between applications, databases, operating systems, processing platforms, storage platforms, and networks.
- Experience in complete life cycle management including but is not limited to: requirements gathering and documentation methodologies, application design, vendor selection, development methodologies and project tracking, source control and defect tracking, change management, release control, and documentation, deployment and training.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to link work priorities to business imperatives.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively across the organization.
- Past direct experience with Salesforce and Veeva
- Experience in planning and control of projects and initiatives (budgeting & tracking, plan development, status reporting, etc.).
- Knowledge of cGMP and validation requirements is highly desired.

Base Salary Range: Gamida Cell considers a range of factors when determining base compensation and therefore the final compensation will vary depending on experience level.
