Gamida Cell is a leader in advanced cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, with two FDA approved therapies, Omisirge® (omidubicel-onlv) and APHEXDA® (motixafortide). Omisirge® is a nicotinamide (NAM) modified allogeneic hematopoietic progenitor cell therapy that is potentially curative for patients with hematologic malignancies and severe Aplaatic Anemia. APHEXDA® is a CXCR4 antagonist with long receptor occupancy indicated in combination with filgrastim to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells to the peripheral blood for collection and subsequent autologous transplantation in patients with multiple myeloma.

General Scope and Summary

Gamida Cell, a leading innovator in cell therapy for the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director, Pricing and Analytics. This pivotal role will shape the company’s pricing strategy and analytical capabilities, supporting the launch and commercialization of transformative cell therapy products. The Director will report to the AVP of Market Access and will collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth, optimize value, and ensure access for patients worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy:
    • Develop, optimize and implement global pricing strategies for Gamida Cell’s cell therapy portfolio. Ensure strategies maximize access and revenue while aligning with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
  • Government Pricing:
    • Lead cross-functional execution of government price reporting and State Price transparency reporting. Manage external vendor relationships and partner with finance, trade and other internal functions as needed.
    • Monitor policy changes that impact government price and ensure company compliance.
    • Develop system to ensure all reporting completed in a timely manner.
  • Analytics Leadership:
    • Develop and manage advanced analytics frameworks to support executive-level insights and decision-making on pricing, market access and overall product strategies and tactics. Develop actionable insights using data from markets, payers, and internal sources.
  • Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
    • Oversee the collection and interpretation of competitive pricing data, payer insights, and market trends to inform recommendations and anticipate shifts in the healthcare landscape.
    • Evaluate policy impact on pricing strategies
    • Support HEOR research to build value messaging for brands
  • Modeling & Forecasting:
    • Lead the development of pricing models, scenario analysis, and forecasting tools to assess the impact of pricing decisions and support long-term
    • Benchmark pricing strategies across therapeutic areas and geographies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Regulatory teams to integrate pricing and analytics into product planning and lifecycle management.
    • Support communication of pricing strategies to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Ensure all pricing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes. Champion best practices in pricing governance and analytics.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, or market access roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector. Cell therapy or advanced therapies and medical benefit experience is highly desired.
  • Deep expertise in understanding, analyzing and incorporating global and domestic government pricing policies, with a specific interest in medical benefit and advanced therapies highly desired.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing global pricing strategies for innovative therapies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in forecasting, modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • HEOR/ value messaging experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging executive and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.

Reports to: Associate Vice President, Market Access

Travel: Up to 20%

Base Salary Range: Gamida Cell considers a range of factors when determining base compensation and therefore the final compensation will vary depending on experience level.
